The Makhuduthamaga Home Community Based Care Umbrella NPO (MK Umbrella) is a South African non-profit
Organization (NPO). MK Umbrella was established with a mission “to increase sustainable health access to
communities in South Africa by providing health care service delivery” and, the vision is to “provide Primary Health
Care (PHC) services in the community”. MK Umbrella is a current Global Fund (GF) Sub recipient (SR) under
Beyond Zero (BZ), tasked to implement the Comprehensive Prevention Programs for Men who have sex with Men
(MSM) in Limpopo province at Sekhukhune District starting April 2022 ending March 2025. As such, MK Umbrella
seeks to recruit for the positions outlined below, to be based at Jane Furse. The closing date for applications is 24

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Knowledge of different languages
-Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
-Willing to travel and work after hours
-Computer literate
-Sound Knowledge of public service act and Batho Pele principles
-Basic understanding of human behavior
-Conflict resolution skills
-Good analytical and problem solving skills
-Flexibility to adapt to changes
-Ability to keep accurate records and compile quality and credible reports
Key Performance Areas
-Conduct assessments and provide individual, family and group consultations around MSM
-Identify, provide psychosocial support and refer MSM cases to appropriate care
-Participate as a fully- fledged team member within the context of a multidisciplinary team of
health professionals when attending to cases
-Document assessments, follow-up sessions and progress made with regard to cases
-Help to prepare monthly and quarterly reports
-Adhere to the social worker code of ethics
-Maintain appropriate confidentiality of records and communications and disclose appropriately as
permitted by law
-Attend regular meetings
