The Makhuduthamaga Home Community Based Care Umbrella NPO (MK Umbrella) is a South African non-profit
Organization (NPO). MK Umbrella was established with a mission “to increase sustainable health access to
communities in South Africa by providing health care service delivery” and, the vision is to “provide Primary Health
Care (PHC) services in the community”. MK Umbrella is a current Global Fund (GF) Sub recipient (SR) under
Beyond Zero (BZ), tasked to implement the Comprehensive Prevention Programs for Men who have sex with Men
(MSM) in Limpopo province at Sekhukhune District starting April 2022 ending March 2025. As such, MK Umbrella
seeks to recruit for the positions outlined below, to be based at Jane Furse. The closing date for applications is 24
June 2022.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
-Willing to travel and work after hours
-Computer literacy
-Sound Knowledge of public service act and Batho Pele principles
-Basic understanding of human behavior
-Conflict resolution skills
-Good analytical and problem solving skills
-Flexibility to adapt to changes
-Ability to keep accurate records and compile quality and credible reports
Key Performance Areas
-Ensure that SOPs and guidelines are adhered to
-Provide comprehensive evidence based clinical procedures
-Manage and conduct all health activities required for the implementation of the MSM program
Maintain and provide MSM friendly clinical services within a multidisciplinary team Provide comprehensive quality HIV, TB and primary health care services to MSM within the
mobile clinical settings
-Provide HIV counseling and testing, initiate and manage antiretroviral therapy
-Provide pre and post exposure prophylaxis according to DOH guidelines
-Identify and refer clients with ART complications and default and support
-Maintain appropriate confidentiality of records and communications and disclose appropriately
as permitted by law
-Provide monthly comprehensive reports
-Attend regular meetings
