position: Driver/Team Leader MSM program Outreach Organization: MK Umbrella NPO Location: Sekhukhune District, Limpopo, South Africa Employment Type: Contract About MK Umbrella: MK Umbrella is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to providing critical health and human rights services to Men who have Sex with Men (MSM). Our work includes HIV testing, PrEP services, Human Rights Advocacy (HRA), and psycho-social support to ensure the well-being and dignity of this marginalized community. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Driver/Team Leader to coordinate and drive outreach services. This role is vital to ensuring the successful delivery of HIV testing, PrEP, and psycho-social support to the MSM community, alongside promoting human rights advocacy. The ideal candidate is not only an excellent driver but also a strong team player with leadership skills and a passion for community health and human rights. Key Responsibilities: Drive outreach team to various sites within the community, ensuring the safe transport of staff, supplies, and equipment. Lead and coordinate fieldwork activities, including setting up HIV testing and PrEP stations. Supervise and support outreach team members during on-the-ground activities. Engage with MSM community members to promote awareness of services, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the smooth delivery of psycho-social support services. Document daily activities, service delivery statistics, and maintain vehicle logs. Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Represent MK Umbrella professionally in all community engagements. Requirement/Qualifications: Grade 12/Matric certificate. A valid Code 10 driver’s license. PrDP (Professional Driving Permit) added as an advantage. Excellent driving record with knowledge of road safety regulations. Strong communication skills and work as a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if necessary.
